Welcome to Leicester Triathlon club. We formed around 1983 and currently have close to 200 members who range from complete novices to multiple ironman finishers and Great Britain representatives. We are a friendly club and always welcome new members to train, race and enjoy a drink or two. Why not come down and meet us to train and chat with like minded people.
Leicester Triathlon Club has achieved the British Triathlon Senior Club Accreditation (STAR) and as such demonstrates a duty of care towards it's members amongst a high quality and efficient level of service. The club has now also set up a thriving Junior section which is very popular and has achieved the British Triathlon Club Mark award, for more details see the Junior tab at the top of the page.
We have close to 200 members to provide advice, support and encouragement.
We run two weekly coached swim session. The first is at New Parks Leisure Centre in Leicester on a Thursday night from 2100-2200hrs, which has a main pool and a beginner pool (example sessions can be downloaded from the swimming page). The second is at Enderby Leisure Centre on a Wednesday evening from 2000-2100hrs.
The club also have open water swim sessions which take place at Watermead Country Park near Syston in the warmer months of the year (more info on the swimming page-please read). There are also club running sessions every week and bike rides organised regularly. For more information please look in the Club Info drop down menu at the top of the page.
