Leicester Triathlon club formed around 1983 and currently have over 100 members who range from complete novices to multiple ironman finishers and Great Britain representatives. The club has also now got a Junior section with over 20 members.
We are a friendly club and always welcome new members to train, race and enjoy a drink or two. Why not come down and meet us to train and chat with like minded people.

Leicester Triatlon Club has now achieved the Star Mark awarded by British Triathlon and as such demonstrates a duty of care towards it's members amongst a high quality and efficient level of service.
We have over 100 members to provide advice, support and encouragement.

We currently run the following training sessions:
Tuesday - 7pm. Track session at Saffron Lane running track for a speed session, approx 1-1.5hrs.
Wednesday - Coached swim session at Enderby Leisure Centre. Cost £3 members, £4 non-members.
Wednesday - Open Water swim at Watermead Park, Syston (May-Sept)
Thursday - 7.30pm-8.30pm. Running session from New Parks Leisure Centre.
Thursday - 9pm-10pm. Coached swim session at New Parks Leisure Centre. We meet upstairs in the room behind the bar at 2045hrs for any announcements and then in the bar after the swim for a drink or two. Cost £3 members, £4 non-members
Saturday - 8.30am. Run around Bradgate Park (off road). Meet at the Newtown Linford entrance, approx 1hr. (Winter months - check on forum to see if it is on before turning up)

Saturday - Open Water swim at Watermead Park, Syston (apr-sept)
Sunday - 9am. Bike ride meeting at the Wheatsheaf pub in Thurcaston. Time and length depends on who attends, check on forum to see if this is going ahead before turning up.
